Be Mine

Taken in my local Tesco superstore. On the left, valentines gifts for those who have that special someone. On the right, Do It Yourself power tools - for those who don't.

Oddly enough, about a year ago I had some power tools I needed to get rid of, and just happened to find out that a couple I knew had something of a fetish for them. Smiles all round.

Huw, it worries me that you had a load of power tools to get rid of quickly, and under cover of darkness. Hmmm...

First I'd sit down in the aisle and stuff my face with way too many chocolates. Then I'd crawl over to the other side and drill a hole in my head.

Interesting. You would think that you would put the condoms across from the chocolate.

It was indeed dark. I also threw in some timber, cos I'm a nice guy.

Huw - Greenpeace should give you honorary membership for that fantastic piece of recycling.

Léonie - We've all got secrets. Huw chooses to write his on the internet.

PJ - That'd be an interesting sight, I wonder if there's actually a power point anywhere in this aisle?

Kels - I think they're under sign "Tool Storage", three signs in from the right.

Eh. You don't want to know what immediately popped into my head when I read "power tools - for those who don't."

which aisle did you end up in?

I have to say, I like PJ's idea.. except rather than drill the hole in my head, I'd do it in my stomach, mess bone, easier to drill!

Is no one else disturbed by the psycho-killer-looking guy?

CDW - I suspect it was the same thought that prompted me to start taking photos in the middle of a supermarket.

Mona - I just pushed a trolley round for my housemate, I had intended to buy food but I couldn't decide what I needed so just bought a variety of cheeses.

Cope - I've probably just busted him with his bit-on-the-side.
