Oh boobs.

There I was, whingeing to just about everyone in sight about the fact that I didn't have the new bl*gger yet... then it comes along and screws everything up. A whole bunch of people have gone anonymous and I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if no-one can comment here at all.

Now I might just have to use my brain sort out a new template.

Anyone got ideas for a theme?

The bastard thing did that to me too, but only - I think - to the comments on my previous post.

At least you now know where you stand in Blogger's bloggers hierarchy. Bottom 7% I'd say.

No, I tell a lie: it's happened to a couple of posts' commments. I am going to speculate that it has struck at those who were, at the time of commmenting, using Blogger Beta. I said beta software is dodgy.

I'm scared to move to the new Blogger as I've forgotten how I put all the groovy stuff on my website, and I worry that I'll never be able to get it back or worse - have to dust off my html book. I'm happy in the Middle Ages, me.

I'm on new and haven't had many problems. Some old comments are showing up anon.

My template stayed exactly the same, except that the Icelandic letters went missing. But seems I only use about two of them it didn't take much to fix.

Same experience as the other people here - some past comments switched to anonymous. Everything else seems the same, though I had to tinker with my Previous Posts to have it list the titles instead of the dates or outline form. Not sure exactly what I did, though ...

I'm kind of annoyed that with the roll-out of "new" Blogger they didn't offer any particularly new templates. They just offer old templates that are easier to mess with. Whatever you do, please do not go with white letters on a black background. I refuse to read any blog with that setup because it gives me a headache.

I didn't know changing templates was in order, I've been wanting to change mine forever but have been way too lazy about it
I had a couple comments go anon on me and I even left a comment under a diff. name once- I think it was something cheesy like mimi!

I'm yet to discover the 'drag and drop' function I was promised.

Chris is right - black backgrounds are PURE HELL.

I think the deal is that it is now officially no longer beta. We've gone alpha baby, and we ain't looking back!

You made me go back and look at old posts. It looks like a few of the links that I inserted turned into some sort of HTML slimey goo.
