Sweden

Me and Dan

A lame attempt to get the Swedish girl in the pic..

Loads has happened but it's really too much to write. Eano, I've found some 'amazing' Swedish bands. Cope, I've found some people that dress up as Vikings all the time - thought you may like that... hopefully photos to follow! Laura, hope the holiday was cool - you'd better be in Cardiff soon!

Astrid, you need no seperate comment really but - you deserve it for being cool. Goede nacht!

Hooray Vikings! If my damned (American) football team keeps losing, I can at least take solace in people dressed as Vikings. I look forward to it.

Great. So I don't get a shout. Bah.

Elsewhere Chris, to return he favour of a month or so ago, I dreamt about you the other night. We went and got rat-arsed at The Monkey Bar on Swansea's Castle Street. It was a good night.

Apologies for the lack of shout Huw, but you'll be pleased to know that I've been dazzling the Swedes with my intimate knowlegde of the BT tower!

I keep meaning to post properly rather than keep with these drive-by bloggings.

At least we're on equal terms with the dreams now, ha ha! I'm glad we got rat-arsed, it just wouldn't seem right any other way!

Yep, Sweden is definately Scandinavian!! I know a few Icelandic chill-out bands that I've seen - Infact I think Sigur Ros are Icelandic, they were amazing. They supported Radiohead a few years ago.

Apart from that though, there are some dodgy musical acts around. Did you know that Sweden was the 3rd biggest exporter of music in the world behind the UK and
the US?

Awww... I always thought that in order to be cool, I had to be a polar bear or a penguin, but I can just remain Astrid? How hot!!! Thanks for making me feel special on this last day of my weekend!

An interesting fact about Sweden, no Polar bears (Isbjörn) live here - I'm a little disappointed!

And how about penguins? Do they live in Sweden? And maybe you should set a few polar bears from the zoo free? I think it will offer a great solution to your problem.

Hmm, didn't ask about penguins. Polar Bears just seemed more important at the time - I can't remember why. The locals found it hilarious that I was so interested in the Polar Bears.

I'll save the penguin question for the next time I bump into a Swede!

Do wear a helmet, so you will at least not hurt your head when you bump.
